Happy Valentine's Day? NOT!!!

I am not going to complain about not having a boyfriend this Valentine's Day or harp on the over commercialization on yet another holiday, thus forgetting its true meaning. No, I am going to complain about DRIVING TO WORK IN HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS! The head honchos stubbornly keep my workplace open and only closes for state emergencies. I guess the only reason for them to close my work place and it not be a state emergencies is if one us dies on the way to work...God forbid! However, it is up to us not come into work or not. After the white knuckled drive to work, I decided the next time we have a mixed bag of rain, sleet, and snow I taking the day off like so many of my smart coworkers did.

You know, I don't ask for much. It would be nice that since I pay both local AND state taxes that the roads be plowed. Is it too much to ask?!! I don't drive a SUV, nor do I drive a car that has four wheel drive. Imagine my dismay as I fishtailed entering a ramp of a major highway and almost got stuck approaching a hill! I am really starting to dislike winter! I hate PennDot because they are shit slow! The roads were better on the way home, though. Of course, the slush today is going to freeze tonight and let me tell you it's going to be SO FUN driving to work tomorrow! I can't wait! That is if I go in...
