I try to keep my Sundays pretty laid back. After a week of working, running around here and there, and trying to maintain some what of a social life I just need a day to unwind. A day to what one of my friends would say to "decompress". So, I woke up around noon partly because I stayed up the night before watching the Noah's Arc marathon on LOGO, that's a whole other post all to its self! I like sleeping in as much as I can on the weekends. I hate waking up early. I am so not a morning person! Anyway, when I finally gained consciousness I took my chi out and I stopped by Dunkin' Donuts and got my usual mocha swirl latte (I swear those things are so addictive that they put crack in them!) and ordered a ham and cheese on a croissant--no egg. Not a big fan of eggs. I came back home and chilled for the rest of the afternoon. I read the Sunday papers and took a nap. Yep, I'm a big fan of naps too. Later on, I went out for dinner with some friends.
Isn't that what Sunday's should be? Simply, a day of leisure? Sundays is a day that one should set aside to relax before tackling another grinding, mind numbing work week.
