Spring is my favorite season. I wish I had more time to enjoy it. Unfortunately, winter's grip is too tight and it's still cold and with the Nor'easter it's rainy. That is one thing that will heighten my cranky mood--cold and rainy weather. We've all heard that old tired out saying April showers bring May flowers, but must it rain all of the time? Why does it seem like we get crappy weather on the weekends? What good is it when it's warm and sunny on a Monday when it's rainy and chilly on a Saturday?
The sad thing is it seems like spring is nothing but a blink of an eye anymore. Spring will last maybe two to three days max! Those days are just perfect. The flowers are blooming, the sky is clear, and it's not too hot and not too cold. It's just warm outside without that suffocating humidity. Sure, it eventually gets warm in May, wait a minute, it gets HOT! Forget warm weather! In May the temperature goes from 0 to 60, well, more like, 0 to 90 and with humidity to boot! Then it's not spring anymore it's summer! After that when June comes, forget about it! All we hear about is hot weather, heat indexes, one hundred percent humidity, and check on the elderly! Look out! Here comes the major thunderstorms...violent thunderstorms that causes blackouts, especially on nights when my favorite shows are on. I cannot leave out a murder here and there...sadly tempers seems to flair more in hot weather. Pitiful.
I'll just crawl into my hole until spring comes back...if it only lasts for about two days.
